It didn’t take long for a fire at a Lavington business to be brought under control.
Firefighters were called to Tolko Industries on Jeffers Road just before 11 a.m. Friday.
“The fire was in one of the (welding shop) building’s interior walls,” said Marty Wright, Lavington fire chief.
“Tolko’s fire crews had it under control when the department got on the scene.”
At 11:40 a.m., firefighters were just dealing with a few hot spots.
“We are currently investigating the cause and evaluating the extent of the damage,” said Don Hanson, Tolko communications manager.
