Snow doesn’t stop North Okanagan-Shuswap school buses

Officials say there are no problems with bus routes Wednesday morning

There are no problems with bus routes in the North Okanagan-Shuswap School District Wednesday morning despite significant snowfall .

“On the backroads which might not yet have been plowed, buses could be running a little late,” said Alice Hucul, communications officer.

“If the buses are more than 15 minutes late, a call-out will be done to the affected route to let people know.”

Students are reminded to stand well back from the road because of current conditions.

The district includes Falkland, Armstrong-Spallumcheen, Enderby, Ashton Creek, Kingfisher, Grindrod and Mara.
