Winter isn’t over yet.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Abbotsford, with around five centimetres of snow expected to fall this afternoon.
The warning was posted at 12:31 p.m.
It states:
“A band of heavy snow will move across western Fraser Valley from the southwest giving near 5 cm of snow in the next few hours. The heavy snow will taper off late this afternoon.
“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.”
Warming temperatures are expected to turn precipitation to rain by tomorrow.
