Arrowsmith Pipe Band — that’s bass drummer Len Mustard above — tried a flashmob at the opening day of the Summer by the Sea Market (also known as the Craig Street Market) on Tuesday in Parksville. The rain was pouring down, but people attending the market stopped to watch and some even pulled out their phones to record the band playing. The market is open every Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. until the end of August.
