An estimated 60,000 people attend celebrations in Cloverdale.

Brothers Scott and Michael Nyholme (above) were among the tens of thousands of visitors to the Cloverdale Amphitheatre for Surrey’s Canada Day party on Friday.

The celebration of the nation’s 144th birthday included amusement rides, food, games, face painting, and  all-day entertainment, including a performance by the Jeffersons (below), comprised of Surrey native Lisa Brokop and her husband Paul Jefferson.

The evening was capped off by a performance by Trooper, followed by a fireworks display.
