RCMP are looking for a man who robbed a taxi driver after threatening him with a hypodermic needle.
Sgt. Rick Dellebuur said on Aug. 1 around 11 p.m. a Courtesy Taxi driver picked up a man at Little Ceasars pizza on Main Street.
“He dropped him off at Edmonton Avenue near the library. The man held a hypodermic needle to the cab driver and said he was HIV positive and said he would stab him if the driver did not give him all his money,” said Dellebuur.
The man is described as Aboriginal, five-foot-six, with slim build, short black hair, brown eyes and missing a front tooth. The man was wearing a black T-shirt, beige cargo shorts, white sandals and it is believed he had a tattoo on his left leg.

Men charged for illegal fish
A traffic check for a burned-out tail light led Princeton RCMP to a cache of illegal fish on Aug. 21.
“After sever minutes of attempting to negotiate, the three male occupants were forced out of the 1992 Dodge D350 and arrested for obstruction,” said Sgt. Dave Clare, adding 500 salmon were found in three freezers in the box of the pickup.
All three men face charges for possession of fish caught unlawfully, while the driver also faces a charge of obstruction.
