Police are looking for the individuals responsible for a vehicle theft and an attempted break-and-enter in Lake Country.
On July 17 at 12:38 a.m., the RCMP received a report of an attempted break-and-enter at Lake Country Liquor Store on Main Street.
“The front doors to the business had been smashed but it appeared that no entry had been gained,” said Const. Kris Clark. “Video surveillance showed an older model pickup truck make several approaches to the front of the business, causing extensive damage.”
At 3:11 a.m., the Kelowna RCMP received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence in the 500 block of Froelich Road. The 1986 Chevy pickup was similar in description to the suspect vehicle used to damage the front doors of the liquor store.
The vehicle was recovered on Bulman Road in Kelowna later July 17.
