Seven Abbotsford schools are in the top 50 per cent of the annual secondary school rankings released by the Fraser Institute.
The organization’s 2011 high school “report card,” released Monday, lists schools from first to 280th based on seven factors, including average provincial exam marks and the graduation rate.
Ten Abbotsford high schools are listed in the rankings. The seven who landed in the top half of the province are: Mennonite Educational Institute (28th), Abbotsford Christian (30th), Yale (98th), W.J. Mouat (108th), Bateman (126th), St. John Brebeuf (133rd) and Abbotsford Traditional (139th).
The remaining schools were: Rick Hansen (172nd), Abbotsford School for Integrated Arts (208th) and Abbotsford Collegiate (252nd).
