Time running out for Kraft Hockeyville ticket pickup

Tuesday will be the last chance for winners to pick up their tickets

With hundreds of tickets not picked up, the Kraft Hockeyville committee is giving ticket winners one last shot.

Organizer Angie Clowry says Lumby is giving away far more tickets than previous Hockeyville communities.

“We’ve added a day as we want as many kids and locals there as possible,” she said.

“With North Saanich giving away 750 and Sylvan Lake giving away 350, it has taken much longer for the (Lumby) volunteers to do just about everything as there are more than 3,300 tickets for the NHL game and practice combined.”

Tuesday between 3 and 7 p.m. at the Lumby Chamber of Commerce will be the last chance for winners to pick up their tickets for the Oct. 2 Oilers/Kings game at Kal Tire Place.
