A grounded sailboat sent members of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary Unit 5 to the Nicomekl River Friday morning.
No one was injured when the boat hit bottom just north of Ward’s Marina around 8:30 a.m. May 18.
Cause of the incident was attributed to “navigational error.”
