Town hall meeting for Cloverdale community

Cloverdale residents can address concerns, speak to issues with Cloverdale-Langley City MP John Aldag

Cloverdale-Langley City MP John Aldag is holding a town hall on Thursday, April 20 to get public input on key aspects of the federal government’s commitment to strengthening the middle class.

The town hall, which will take place at Cloverdale Recreation Centre at 6188 176 St., will allow residents to share their thoughts on how the government can create opportunities for families, grow the economy while addressing climate change and build healthy communities.

Aldag will also provide an update on the 2017 federal budget, and outline key investments for Cloverdale and Langley City.

He will also discuss Motion M-103, the controversial anti-Islamophobia motion, pipelines, support for senior citizens, marijuana legislation and modernizing the House of Commons.

The town hall starts at 6 p.m. and ends with an open mic session for attendees.
