There was an ice rescue of the four-wheel kind Saturday.
Tow truck operators and a hazardous material crew converged on Swan Lake to remove a pickup truck that crashed through the ice Dec. 28.
The exact thickness of Swan Lake ice is not known but the Livesaving Society of B.C. recommends four inches of ice to carry the weight of a person on any lake and 12 to 15 inches for one medium-sized truck
