Tussle over remote control sparks dispute

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 23 calls for service from January 7th, 8 AM till January 8th, 8 AM.

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 23 calls for service from January 7th, 8 AM till January 8th, 8 AM. During the same time period there have been four people lodged in Terrace Cells. Three of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

Possible impaired driver in a black 1999 D150 Dodge truck. The truck was pulled over on Hall St. The 38 yr old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Fourteen year old girl at McDonald’s refusing to go home with her parent.

Police observed three men standing in an alley during patrols. A 27 yr old man was in breach of a no consume alcohol condition. The man was arrested.

Elsewhere Terrace

A brown wallet containing various cards and ID is missing, possibly at the Park Ave Medical Clinic.

Domestic assault investigation. A 74 yr old woman suffered minor injury.

False 911 call on Kenny St

Theft from an unlocked red 2006 Ford F350 parked on Cory Dr

Intoxicated man at a residence on Pear St. Police arrested a 38 yr old.

Missing person. The person was not missing.

Intoxicated man scaring people in a residence on Hanson St. Police arrested a 43 yr old man.

Domestic dispute. A man struck a woman when she attempted to take a remote. The woman struck the man and bit him. Under investigation.

Harassing text messages and voicemails. Police gave advice on the matter.

Knocking on a door very late at night. Police attended a spoke with an elderly woman. Ongoing issues in the neighbourhood of noise and suspicious activity. Under investigation.

A woman assaulting a man in a residence on Kalum St. Police spoke with the people involved. Nobody was cooperative with police. No offence committed. Everyone was separated.

A woman requesting police assistance with an inappropriate picture being linked to her on the internet.

Traffic incident on Clark St/Pine Ave involving a green 1997 Ford Explorer.

Suicidal woman sitting in a ditch near Clarke St. Police spoke with the woman. Unsubstantiated.

Missing 14 yr old girl. She was located by her parents.

Gitaus

Police assisted a man to remove personal belongings from a residence.

Possible impaired driver in a Blue 2004 Dodge Caravan

Rural

Abandoned vehicle on First Ave in Lakelse Lake. Police spoke with the registered owner.

Abandoned white Ford F150 on Hwy 37 near Onion Lake.
