Two bodies discovered in an Enderby area home

RCMP remain on scene at a residence in the 3200 block of Spruce Crescen

The RCMP are investigating the discovery of two bodies in an Enderby area home.

At about noon Friday, officers received a report of two bodies in a residence in the 3200 block of Spruce Crescent, on the Splatsin First Nation.

“Although the investigation remains in i’s infancy, police can confirm the bodies, were that of a female and male, both believed to be residents of the home,” said Cpl. Janelle Shoihet.

“At this time, we do not believe there is any risk to the public.”

The Southeast District Major Crime Unit in co-operation with the B.C. Coroners Service and the local RCMP are expected to remain at the scene throughout the weekend as the investigation continues.

“No further information will be provided until autopsies have been completed,” said Shoihet.
