Two North Okanagan men killed in separate accidents

A 25-year-old Lumby man, and a 64-year-old Enderby man were victims in accidents eight hours apart.

Two North Okanagan men were killed in separate motor vehicle accidents Sunday.

A 25-year-old Lumby man died when his Ford F350 truck rolled in the 1000 block of Whitevale Road near the village shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

A passenger in the truck, the driver’s 23-year-old brother from Lumby, got out of the truck and began CPR on his brother, who had been ejected from the vehicle. He could not be revived.

A 64-year-old Enderby man was killed at around 10:30 a.m. Sunday when the northbound motorcycle he was operating struck a southbound Ford F350 truck head-on in the 800 block of Enderby-Grindrod Road.

Four occupants in the truck, all from the Enderby area, were not injured.

Both accidents remain under investigation.
