Traffic was snarled following two separate accidents not far from one another this morning (Thursday) on Harris Road in Abbotsford.
Abbotsford Police Const. Ian MacDonald said the collisions involved a total of six cars, and there were no serious injuries.
The first crash, occurring just before 7 a.m., involved two vehicles, while the second took place just after 7 a.m. and involved four vehicles.
One was on Harris Road near Highway 11, and the other was on Harris near Gladwin Road.
MacDonald said speed and tailgating were factors in the chain-reaction collisions.
