The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is continuing its investigation into a man reported missing on Saturday, April 18.

Police have now released still images from security video of Mark Craig Linton, 41, leaving his apartment complex on Saturday, in hopes the photos will assist in locating him.

Police were contacted on Saturday just before noon that Linton was missing from his home near McCallum Road and South Fraser Way.

Linton was last observed at 5 a.m. that day, leaving his apartment building.

He was wearing a brown and white jacket, blue jeans and a baseball cap. He was carrying a backpack and a bedroll, according to police.

Linton is 5′ 9” and 200 pounds.  He has brown eyes and short brown hair.

Linton does not have a history with police or for this type of behaviour. Police said his family believes he is distraught as a result of some current challenges he is dealing with. He left on foot and would be relying on others for transportation.

Anyone with information about Linton should call the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225 or text 222973 (abbypd).
