The Summerland RCMP is confirming that the 30 year old female who was reported missing on October 21, 2013 has been located.

The Summerland RCMP would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance.

Oct. 21 —

The Summerland RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating May Lee Shipton of Summerland.

The 30-year-old woman was reported missing on Saturday Oct. 19. Summerland RCMP received a report that May Lee Shipton had left a Summerland residence the day before, to walk her Pomeranian dog and had not returned since. No clothing description was available.

Shipton is described as Caucasian female, 165 centimetres, 59 kilograms, brown hair and hazel eyes.

RCMP and friends of Shipton are concerned about her sudden disappearance and are seeking to confirm her current whereabouts. Police are asking that Shipton contact the Summerland RCMP or local police services herself in order to personally confirm her well being.

RCMP investigators are also asking that anyone with information about Shipton’s current whereabouts contact their local police services or the Summerland RCMP at 250-494-7416.
