The Canadian Mental Health Association in Vernon is going through a transition.
Sue Rossi has announced that she is retiring as executive director.
“I have enjoyed working at CMHA the most of any of my career opportunities. You’ve made CMHA a warm and welcoming place for so many individuals and it’s a small miracle to watch how each person grows and flourishes in our CMHA community,” she wrote in letter to staff and volunteers.”
Recruitment for a new executive director is underway.
“The board of directors of CMHA Vernon would like to thank Sue for her valued leadership skills and for making a positive difference at CMHA Vernon, and wish her all the best in future endeavours,” said Robert Scott, president.
CMHA Vernon has been in operation since 1959 and continues to provide services and programs for individuals in the community.
