Vernon man receives 42 months in jail for crimes against young girls

Connor Dee, 28, will serve two years in a federal prison for crimes he committed against five girls under the age of 17

A Vernon man has been given a sentence of 42 months in jail on multiple counts including child luring, invitation to sexual touching involving children and making child pornography.

Connor Michael Tyson Dee, 28, was given credit by Judge Mayland McKimm in Vernon Provincial Court Thursday for 18 months time served, so he will serve two years of new jail time in a federal prison.

Dee was also placed on three years probation following his jail sentence and ordered not to have contact or be in a place where it is reasonable to expect children to be.

Dee was also ordered not to have contact with any of his five victims, aged 11 to 17.
