Vernon RCMP are hunting for a suspect following an attempted robbery at a Vernon gas station Tuesday.
Police were called to the Blue Moon Esso on 34th Street shortly before 4:30 p.m.
The suspect is unknown to be man or woman, possibly Caucasian short, approximately five-foot-five or five-foot six, wearing a black and white trucker’s hat, big sunglasses that covered most of the face, a brown T-shirt, shorts and sandals.
It’s not clear at this time if the suspect used any weapon in the attempt.
Police continue to investigate.
