Vernon RCMP have confirmed Monday evening that the body of a man was discovered in the Linear Park area.
The body was found by the bridge over BX Creek in the 3500 block of 25th Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. Monday.
RCMP are investigating the death and expect to have more details Tuesday.
