A large, low-flying aircraft that had many Abbotsford residents preparing for the worst reportedly landed safely this morning.
Multiple Facebook commenters reported a large aircraft with no windows circling over the city at a low altitude around 10:30 a.m. while emitting what appeared to be smoke.
Several people said they thought the aircraft was in danger of crashing.
But a video posted on YouTube suggests the aircraft was a B-52 making a fly-by. The plane had been in town for the Girls Fly Too event at the airport.
