TOY DRIVE BREAKFAST: One of Tigh-Na-Mara’s hard-working staff, doubling as a volunteer elf, receives a toy from a youngster during the Tigh-Na-Mara Toy Drive Breakfast on Wednesday morning in Parksville. More than 1,600 breakfasts were served for the price of an unwrapped toy or a donation, which will be given through the SOS to local children this Christmas. Organizers said 1,590 toys were donated and $11,200 in cash/cheques/gift cards was collected.
