Violent home invader pleads guilty

A man who broke into an Esquimalt home and stabbed a woman inside when he was a teenager, pled guilty in court Monday.

Alexander Vince Escobar was 18 when he slashed an artery and nerve in the leg of a newlywed woman living on Anderson Road on Sept. 9, 2009.

Her injuries are described as life-altering.
