Wanted man located

An Oliver resident, who is accused of manslaughter, didn't show it court in Prince George and apprehended in Osoyoos

As a result of information provided to the police, Lloyd William Cook was located and arrested at a residence in Osoyoos on Feb. 11.

He will be transported back to Prince George for a court date in the near future.

An arrest warrant was issued for Cook, who is accused of manslaughter, after he failed to attend court in Prince George on Jan. 31. The 54-year-old Oliver resident had talked to police that morning in Williams Lake, just hours before he was scheduled for court in Prince George.

Williams Lake RCMP believed Cook and his travel companions were having vehicle trouble. The accused has not been seen by police until he was apprehended in Osoyoos.
