The water service interruption scheduled for Tuesday will now be held today (Wednesday) from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The interruption covers from 8400 Old Kamloops Road to O’Keefe Ranch, as well as the entire Stepping Stones subdivision. It is necessary because of a water main leak repair.
Officials suggested that a short-term water supply be stored before the interruption for use while the water is off.

Some Greater Vernon and Spallumcheen residents are without water today (Tuesday) because of emergency water main leak repairs.
The water service interruption covers from 8400 Old Kamloops Road to O’Keefe Ranch, as well as the entire Stepping Stones subdivision.
It’s anticipated that water service will be restored by 4 p.m. today.
