• Feb. 16 – March 7 – The Showcase Gallery will feature the work of local artist Kathy Crawshay. The collection features watercolour paintings of children playing outside.
• Feb. 16 – March 11– The Parkside Art Gallery will feature the work of Robert Brunet. His display of aerial drone images will only be available for viewing (not purchase).
• Feb. 17 – The next Solid Rock Café will be Friday, at the Rock Youth Centre, 4930 Telqua Drive, 108 Ranch (On the 108 church grounds). Great local musical talent, wonderful atmosphere, free admission, goodies by donation. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., music starts at 7. For more info call Pat at 250-395-3846.
• Feb. 19 – The 100 Mile House Wranglers 4th Annual Awards Banquet will be held at the Creekside Seniors Centre at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and available at the Wranglers office, Central GM and Sears.
• Feb. 23 – Blackberry Wood will be a Critical Mass Pop-up Gallery at #1-150 Birch Ave. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. with the show starting at 8. The show will feature the foot stomping gypsy jazz and rock circus Blackberry Wood presented by Momentum Productions. There will be an entry fee of $15.
• Feb. 25 – The 100 Mile Festival of the Arts is sponsoring a Music Performance Workshop with acclaimed Singer/Clinician Tracy Fehr on Feb. 25 at the Martin Exeter Hall. There will be a Junior Workshop from 9:30 a.m. to noon (fee $20), and an Intermediate/Senior Workshop from 1:30 to 4 p.m. (fee $20). Pre-registration by Feb. 17 is preferred. • Feb. 26 – 100 Mile Festival of the Arts February Recital at the Martin Exeter Hall at 2 p.m. Students of all ages are encouraged to come and perform whatever piece they are working on.
