Wine festival uncorked

The 22nd Nanaimo Wine Festival will be held Friday (Oct. 24) at the Beban Park social centre.

The city’s wine lovers will raise a glass this weekend.

The 22nd Nanaimo Wine Festival will be held Friday (Oct. 24) at the Beban Park social centre.

Tickets are $43 each and are all-inclusive, allowing people to taste over 200 different wines from around the world.

There will also be cheese and other finger food, music by guitarist Eric Harper, and prizes.

Tickets are available at Quarterway liquor store, the Tally Ho beer and wine store, the Wellington liquor store, Landlubber liquor store, Windward liquor store, Northgate liquor store and University Village liquor store. The wine festival befefits the Nanaimo Firefighters Association Fire Safety House program.
