Youth sent to hospital after shots fired

Police were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of 33rd St.

A police investigation continues after gunfire in a Vernon neighbourhood.

On Sunday at 12:24 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of 33rd St.

“One male youth received a non-life threatening injury,” said Sgt. Mike MOyer.

“Investigators believe this was a targeted incident, and the matter remains under investigation.”
