The Langley Senior Blaze dropped a 4-1 decision to the Coquitlam Angels to fall to 2-4 in league play.
The senior men’s baseball team fell behind 3-0 in the first inning of Monday night’s game at Mundy Park and managed just one run — a Bob Foerster RBI single in the seventh inning. Michael Dagg scored the run after opening the inning with a double.
The Blaze were limited to four hits in the game and three of the came in that final inning.
Langley faces the Burnaby Senior Bulldogs in a doubleheader on Saturday at McLeod Park. Game times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The Blaze also played doubleheader on June 20 against the Nanaimo VIBI Muckers. Langley won the opener 9-5 before dropping game two 7-2.
