“I am honoured to have been chosen each year for the Bob Bearpark Award as recognition of my commitment to coaching and coaching education. I use this education every day with the athletes I coach, helping them to achieve athletic success, and more importantly, to develop success after sport.”

Magee is the BC Aquasonics coachleader and the 13-15 age group national stream synchronized swimming coach.

Magee was selected to the Team Canada synchronized swimming national B team in 2001 and the national A Team in 2005. She achieved her NCCP level 3 coaching certification in 2007 while still an athlete and is now in her final year of her Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching degree at Douglas College.
