Atom A Tyees go 5 and 0

The Tyees are now 5-0 after defeating Kerry Park 3-1 on Saturday

The Browns Bay Packing Atom A Tyees have done it again.

The Tyees are now 5-0 after defeating Kerry Park 3-1 on Saturday. Both teams played a very tough game, and it wasn’t until the second period that Campbell River’s Noah Fladager scored the first Tyee goal.

Five minutes later, Fladager scored goal number two for the Tyees, assisted by River Fahey.

The third and final goal for the Tyees came from Fahey four minutes into the third period, giving the boys their fifth straight win.

Game stars for Saturday go to forward Fladager and defenceman Bryce Narhi.

On Sunday the Tyees faced off against the Tier one Naniamo clippers in an exhibition game on home ice.  If the Clippers thought they could easily defeat the Tyees, they would soon realized a win would be anything but.

In what was one of the best played games of the season, the Atom A Tyees defeated Naniamo 6-4.

Fahey had a great game, scoring five goals in total, three of which were unassisted. Fladager and Dakota Sinclair assisted on Fahey’s other two goals.  Fladager provided Sinclair with the pass he needed to score another goal for the Tyees, and the fate of the Naniamo Clippers was sealed.

Game stars for Sunday go to forward Fahey and defenceman Logan Chapdelaine.

The Tyees face off against the Oceanside Generals on Saturday in Parksville.
