North Langley Bears Keyan Adkins eludes a tackle during Saturday's peewee football game at McLeod Park against the Ridge Meadows Knights.

Bears rally to defeat Knights

After surrendering touchdowns on the two first drives, the North Langley Bears settled down and rallied for a 19-12 victory on Saturday at McLeod Park against the Meadow Ridge Knights in peewee football.

Jacob Stebbings, Ryan Taylor and Keyan Adkins all had rushing touchdowns, while Ethan Adkins ran in a successful convert.

Eric Hawkins was solid along the offensive line.

Stebbings, the team’s quarterback, also had good chemistry with receiver Alex Henderson, connecting on three passes and more than 100 yards receiving.

The defence was led by Brandon Brynjolfson, Cadeyrn Barthelson, Brodie Tarling and Conner Hurley.
