Semiahmoo Mino Hockey product Mason Blacklock has a new home in the B.C. Hockey League, after being traded last week from the Langley Rivermen to the Nanaimo Clippers.

In exchange, the Rivermen get 19-year-old forward Brodie Jamieson, a former Surrey Eagle who played seven games in South Surrey last season before joining Nanaimo.

Blacklock, a 17-year-old forward, was in his second year with Langley, but had played in just three games with the club this season, tallying one assist.

As a rookie last year, the White Rock native had two goals and three assists in 37 games.
