The Langley Blaze pushed their winning streak to 16 games, sweeping all four games they played over the weekend in Victoria.
The Blaze beat the Victoria Eagles 15-2 and 3-2 on Saturday at Lambrick Park and then beat the Victoria Mariners 14-4 and 8-0 on Sunday at Henderson Park.
They also pounded the Coquitlam Reds 14-1 on May 9 at McLeod Park.
With the wins, the U18 baseball team improved to 18-3 on the B.C. Premier Baseball League season.
The team has scored double digits in 10 of their past 13 games.

The Blaze blew the game open with eight runs in the second inning.
Griffin Andreychuk finished 3-for-3 with a double, triple and four RBIs while Tyler O’Neill drove in three runs.
Connor Kenwood earned the win, allowing two hits and one run over two innings.
Blaze 15 Eagles 2
Langley trailed 2-1 after one inning, but exploded for six runs in the second. They added another six runs in the top of the seventh to put the game completely out of reach.
The Eagles managed a pair of runs — both unearned — off Kristjan Storrie, who allowed just one hit over five and one third innings.
The offence was led by O’Neill,who finished 4-for-5 with two home runs, two triples and nine RBIs.

Luke Horanski’s fourth-inning single brought home Shoma Sasaki — who had tripled the previous at bat — to snap a 2-2- tie and send the Blaze to a 3-2 victory.
Mitchell Robinson had an RBI single and Nick Rutckyj had a sacrifice fly for the team’s other two scores.
Ashton Mantle earned the win, allowing two runs over four innings while Cooper Misic picked up the save with three innings of near-perfect pitching. He allowed just one walk to the 10 batters he faced.

O’Neill and Mike Dagg each drove in four runs and Andre Pelletier drove in another pair in Langley’s 14-4 victory.
O’Neill also connected on his sixth home run of the season.
Kyle Ross picked up the win after giving up one earned run over five and two-thirds innings.

Braeden Bouchey threw a no-hitter, allowing just one walk in five innings during his team’s 8-0 win.
O’Neill and Dagg took care of the offence with two RBIs apiece.

They also play the Okanagan Athletics in a four-game set this weekend, with all four games at McLeod Park.
