A Nanaimo BMX Club athlete headed over the border and returned as a champ.
Peyton Yochim was a double winner at the American Bicycle Association BMX Lumberjack Nationals in Richland, Wash. Sept. 19-20,
Yochim placed first in the 10-and-under girls’ cruiser race and also won the 10-year-old girls’ race. She is just the second girl from the club to win a U.S. nationals title.
