Langley atom football team has gone 2-0-1 in past three games

The Langley Broncos expanded their unbeaten streak to three games with the 30-24 victory over the Richmond Raiders.

The atom football teams clashed at McLeod Athletic Park on Sunday with Vaughn Pinchin, Jordy Tomica and Liam McCormick all finding the end zone.

Cody Oliver and Macram Deng led the team while Riley Dryborough gave a great effort on both sides of the ball.

Langley improved to 2-2-1 on the season.

The score was one-sided, but the Langley Outlaws played hard from whistle to whistle in a 49-0 loss to the North Delta Longhorns at John Oliver Park on Friday in junior bantam football.

The running back-by-committee of Nick Murray, T.J. Fujimura, Chris Kongbo and Tyson Tomb took advantage of the holes opened by their offensive line to move the ball down the field, but the Longhorns defence prevented them from crossing into the end zone.

Brodie Thomas,Nico Pavicic, Gabriel West,Braxton Bedard,Michael Giustino and Roloff all had a multiple tackle games while Hayden Horan did a nice job on kick-off returns.

Stryker Roloff was solid on special teams, averaging 35 yards per punt.
