Wind, rain and a very tricky course conditions didn’t bother Brad Clapp in the Callaway Interior Pro Golfers Association Tour first individual event of the season Monday at The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna.
Clapp, of Sun Rivers in Kamloops, shot a 3-under 68 (worth $550) and cruised to a four-shot victory over Ryan Street (PGA. BC) and Dean Claggett of Two Eagles Golf Course & Academy in West Kelowna. Street and Claggett each earned $400.
Finishing fourth was Russ Latimer of Gallagher’s Canyon Resort in Kelowna with a 74 ($265).
Jesse Crowe of Salmon Arm’s Canoe Creek, Keith Vandenbrink of Hillview, Rob Anderson of Kelowna Golf & Country Club and Chris Hinton of Two Eagles all shot 75 to pocket $187.
Next Tour event is the Kelowna Rotary Pro-Am Tuesday, May 17 at The Harvest.
