CMBA programs encourage better baseball

Rally Cap day and Batters Box Fundamental Skills Camp are two programs that help Chilliwack baseball players get better at what they do.

Chilliwack Minor Baseball’s Rally Cap players will join bantam and peewee rep players at Rally Cap night.

They’ll all be at the Fairfield Island midget diamond Tuesday night, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

There will be skills stations.

Players will receive a hot dog and drink from the concession stand and all players will receive a Rally Cap at the end.

— The Batters Box Fundamentals Skills Camp runs July 23-26 at Fairfield Island.

Available to players between the ages of 7-13 (split into two groups), the camp’s head instructor is University of British Columbia pitching coach Shawn Corness.

The cost is $150 with a $20 discount for early registration (before July 1).
