A pair of Langley Minor Hockey Association atom hockey teams squared off for the gold medal

In an all-Langley final, it was the Cobras edging the Spitfires by a 3-2 score.

The two Langley Minor Hockey Association atom squads squared off for the gold medal in the finals of the Sno-King Thanksgiving Hockey Tournament in Washington State.

The two Langley squads made it all the way to the final out of the field of 16 teams.

The Cobras went unbeaten the round robin, beating the host Sno-King team 15-0, doubling the VTMHA Cobras 4-2 and then playing the Cloverdale Snipers to a 3-3 draw.

In the semifinals, they beat another Cloverdale squad, the Warriors, by a 5-3 score.

The Cobras consist of Ethan Andre, Jakub Brown, Matthew Tipper, Rylan Tutte, Riley Kirk, Preston Vipond, Noah Hussain, Matthew Lawrence, Adrian May, Aidan O’Leary, Cole Hunter, Nathan Prodanuk and Cory Lescisin.

The coaches are Sean Vipond, Adam Tutte and Mike Kirk.
