The Grade 8/9 girls soccer team closed the regular season with a 4-0 win at home over the R.E. Mountain Eagles before losing on the road, 3-0 to the D.W. Poppy Redhawks on May 6.

Poppy finished first in the league with a record of 9-1-0 and 27 points. Credo was second with 20 points and a 6-2-2 record.

Taking third place — and the final berth for the upcoming Fraser Valley championships — were the Brookswood Bobcats who finished 5-3-2.

Poppy earns a bye straight to the quarter-final round of the Fraser Valley championships while Credo and Brookswood face opening round games on May 13.
