Curlers battle at Spring Fling

Twenty-four teams from six Lower Mainland curling clubs hit the ice at Langley Curling Club for Spring Fling Bonspiel

Some of the top senior ladies’ curling was battling it out at the Langley Curling Club as part of the Spring Fling Bonspiel.

A total of 24 teams from six curling clubs — Langley, Chilliwack, Peace Arch, Cloverdale, Royal City (New Westminster) and Tunnel Town (Tsawwassen) — took part in the three-day bonspiel.

And in the end, it was the Ann Rambottom rink from Chilliwack defeating Langley’s Anne Knopp rink in the finals.
