Curling Club hosts Mixed Bush Spiel

The Summerland Curling Club had their Mixed Bush Spiel on the weekend of Jan. 6 to 8, with 28 teams competing.

The Summerland Curling Club had their Mixed Bush Spiel on the weekend of Jan. 6 to 8, with 28 teams competing.

There were seven teams from Penticton, seven from Kelowna, one from Kamloops, one from Salmon Arm and 12 from Summerland.

“A” Winners from Summerland: Skip Art Lappalainen, third Cheryl Jaeger, second Dale Abrey, lead Joy Lappalainen. Runners up from Summerland: Skip Jared St. John, third Jodie Brennan, second Graham Lyle, lead Melissa St. John.

“B” Winners from Penticton: Skip Brad Wood, third Michelle Pratt , second Alen Pratt, lead Annette Wood. Runners up from Summerland: Skip John Egyed, third Cindy Curtain, second Ken Rae, lead Kathy Larkin

“C” Winners from Summerland: Skip Stan Green, third Patti McGillivray, second Eric Johnson, lead Katelyn McGillivray. Runners up from Kamloops: Skip Amanda Guido, third Jamie Denton, second Jenna Denton, lead Rob Guido.
