Dryden Hunt named WHL player of the week

The Nelson native scored six goals and three assists in three games last week.

Nelson’s Dryden Hunt has earned another honour for his tear through the WHL.

The Moose Jaw Warriors forward was named the league’s player of the week Monday. Hunt scored six goals and had three assists in three games for the Warriors.

Hunt, who was also the WHL’s player of the month for January, leads the league in goals with 45 and in points with 93 through 58 games.

The 20-year-old has 104 goals and 122 assists into his fifth WHL season.
