Getting better year after year. It’s the best way to describe the progression of the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s basketball team over the last five years.Although they failed to make the Canada West post season again, they were in the running until their very last weekend.

Coach Scott Reeves said the most pleasant surprise on the WolfPack this season could have been the minutes given to first-year guard Jorri Duxbury. Salmon Arm’s Duxbury averaged 26.1 minutes on the floor and led the team in steals in six games. She was 12th in the Canada West in assists (2.8 per game).

“Jorri’s impact was on getting us into offence and her ability to guard some of the better players in our league,” Reeves stated.
