The Masters Swim Association of B.C. Provincial Championships were held this past weekend at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre.

There were 185 swimmers registered, ranging in age from 19 to 96. Competitors came from as far away as Alberta and Oregon to swim at the meet.

The Nanaimo Ebbtides Masters Swim Club hosted the event and according to a club press release, the meet was a chance to get together with like-minded swimmers, enjoy the fun of competition, reach for personal bests and to try to set and break records.
