Two members of the Fort Langley Canoe Club were honoured with athlete development awards while one official from the club was also recognized for her efforts.
The trio were honoured on May 7 in Maple Ridge as Canoe Kayak BC recognized the province’s top athletes, coaches and officials for 2015.
More than 50 individuals were honoured for their paddling excellence this past season.
Quinn Thompson won a U12 male development award while Elissa Elmadani won a U14 female development award.
And Kelley Fripps-Cheung was given an officials award.
