Friday Night Hoops ready to tip off for another season

Friday Night Hoops is back.

The basketball league, for girls in Grades 3-7, is designed to produce an environment of learning skills, having fun and being competitive.

It is run by Brookswood Secondary coaches Neil Brown and Chris Veale, as well as members of the Bobcats girls’ program.

In the past 10 years, graduates of the program have won 11 provincial championships in the various age groups.

The sessions begin Friday, April 8 and run until May 20 (with a break on April 22 for Good Friday) at Brookswood Secondary. Prior to the break, they are from 7-8:30 p.m. and the last three sessions are 5:30-7 p.m.

It will be split into two age groups (Grades 3-5 and 6/7).

Cost is $60.

To register, contact Brown at 604-530-2141.
