Fulton Maroons were in a position to advance to the B.C. Boys AA basketball finals Saturday night in Kamloops.
The Maroons advanced to the Okanagan championship final Friday with a 69-55 semifinal win over the South Okanagan Hornets.
Brandon Isaac led the Maroons with 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Tye Kitzman added 17 points, eight boards and had five steals while Karanmeet Khatra chipped in 15 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Fulton won its opener Thursday, 89-39 over the Summerland Rockets, behind 21 from Isaac, 15 from Kitzman and 12 from Cory Ang.
Armstrong’s Pleasant Valley Saints were on the consolation side of the tournament after dropping their opening game to South Okanagan Thursday.
George Kocsis’ squad was slated to play Summerland Friday evening.
The Kalamalka Lakers also took part in the eight-team valleys.
